The Indiana K-12 Mathematics Leadership Academy (IMLA) will provide district teams of grades K-12 school principals (and/or assistant principals) and teacher leaders (classroom teachers, instructional coaches, etc) with the knowledge and tools to strengthen their leadership capacity for improving mathematics teaching and learning in their schools.
The IMLA includes a three-day summer institute, three follow-up seminars, and four differentiated online support modules for principals and mathematics teacher leaders. Full participation results in 40 PGPs.
Teams consisting of K-12 principals and one or more mathematics teacher leaders (classroom teachers, instructional coaches, etc.) from the same district may apply. Teacher leader applicants should have at least three years of teaching experience. The cost is $300 per participant.
